Baby Yoga
Baby yoga provides babies with physical and mental stimulation through a variety of gentle exercises and movements.
This class provides a great opportunity for parents and babies to bond in a lively yet relaxed atmosphere. As well as helping both mum/dad and baby to relax the exercises also encourage babies to become more aware of their bodies, whilst encouraging parents to have confidence in handling their baby. Baby yoga may also help soothe sleep problems and colic, whilst aiding digestion. Other benefits include enhanced muscular coordination and general development. The classes are based around movement, rhythm and song. This means that baby yoga is not only fun but can also be incorporated into daily activities at both playtime and relaxation. Some classes may also include Yoga exercises for Mums. |
